Salary: Kshs. 300,000 - 350,000 + Medical Cover + 100% Tuition Fee For One Child And 50% For The Second Child + Training & Professional Development
Requirements:
- Masters Degree In Education, Educational Leadership, Counselling, Psychology, Or A Related Field Preferred.
- Bachelors Degree In Education Or Related Field. Strong Understanding Of International Curricula And Pastoral Systems Across Multiple Age Phases.
- Excellent Communication, Conflict Resolution, Organisational, And Interpersonal Skills.
- Demonstrated Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Students, Staff, And Parents From Diverse Cultural Backgrounds.
- Safeguarding And Child Protection Certification/Training Strongly Preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 To 10 Years Experience In Education, Including Significant Pastoral Leadership Experience Within An International Or High-Performing School.
- Proven Experience Leading Safeguarding, Behaviour Management, Wellbeing, And Inclusion Programmes.
- Experience Managing Multidisciplinary Teams And Working Collaboratively With Senior Leadership.
Responsibilities: -
- Lead And Oversee The Schools Pastoral Care Framework Across Early Years, Primary, Secondary, And A Levels.
- Ensure Robust Safeguarding And Child Protection Systems In Line With International Best Practice And Kenyan Regulatory Requirements.
- Develop And Implement Behaviour, Attendance, Wellbeing, And Inclusion Policies And Procedures.
- Promote Positive Student Behaviour, Emotional Wellbeing, Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Across The School Community.
- Supervise Pastoral Leaders, Counsellors, Safeguarding Teams, And Student Support Staff.
- Coordinate Interventions For Students Requiring Behavioural, Emotional, Or Learning Support.
- Build Strong Partnerships With Parents Through Proactive Communication And Engagement Initiatives.
- Monitor Pastoral Data, Trends, And Student Welfare Indicators To Drive Continuous Improvement.
- Lead Crisis Management And Student Welfare Responses Where Necessary.
- Contribute To Whole School Strategic Planning, Policy Development, And Leadership Initiatives.
- Foster A Safe, Respectful, And Nurturing School Culture That Supports Holistic Education And Student Success.
- Lead Parental Engagement In All Pastoral Matters Including Workshops, Training And Advisory Sessions.
- Contribute Actively To The Whole School Strategic Planning.
