ELECTRICAL & MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

• We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious Electrical & Maintenance Technician to support the academy’s infrastructure by ensuring that electrical systems, generators, kitchen equipment, and other critical utilities operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems across classrooms, offices, dormitories, and service areas.

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of backup generators and electrical distribution systems.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical installations, kitchen equipment, and related infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults promptly to minimize disruption to school operations.

• Support maintenance of HVAC systems, water pumps, and other mechanical utilities.

• Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards and reduce fire risks.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and repair reports.

• Coordinate with external contractors when specialized services are required.

• Support general facilities maintenance as needed across the campus.
• Location-Maai Mahiu – Along Maai Mahiu–Longonot Road

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance in institutional, commercial, or industrial environments.

• Experience working with generators, electrical panels, and equipment maintenance.

• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.

• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
