EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Technician to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production and utility equipment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Install, set up, and commission new equipment and machinery
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
· Diagnose equipment faults and carry out timely repairs
· Monitor equipment performance and ensure optimal operation
· Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
· Work closely with engineers and production teams to minimize downtime
· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
· Assist in training operators on proper equipment use
Qualifications & Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field
· Minimum 1years’ experience in equipment maintenance (manufacturing/industrial environment preferred)
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· PLC programming maintenance experience
· Willingness to work shifts and respond to breakdowns
