Financial Analyst and Collections Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst and Collections Specialist to manage our company's financial operations and debt collections. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills to ensure the timely receipt of overdue payments. They will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial reports, monitoring payment plans, negotiating payment options, and instituting legal actions, if necessary.

Responsibilities:

·        Analyse financial data and create financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.

·        Monitor payment plans and identify deviations from predetermined payment schedules.

·        Contact clients to restate their dues and negotiate payment options.

·        Locate defaulters through telephonic and desktop investigations.

·        Propose realistic, carefully-constructed payment plans.

·        Negotiate newly-adjusted payment plans.

·        Monitor defaulters' repayments to stop recurrent non-compliance.

·        Maintain an updated, exhaustive paper trail.

·        Institute suitable, timely legal action, if needed.

·        Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

·        A minimum of 3 years of work experience in financial analysis and collections.

·        Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

·        Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.

·        Ethical behavior.

·        Attention to detail.

·        Familiarity with financial analysis software.

·        Knowledge of debt-related legal provisions.
