Thousands of retailers across Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda use Wasoko’s mobile ordering and delivery service to receive the goods they need as quickly and cheaply as possible while also accessing growth financing for the first time.Duties and Responsibilities Support to the Manager, FP&A for the budgeting/forecasting process, month-end closing and variance analysis, cash flow modelling and various ad hoc projectsDevelop models to improve the efficiency and accuracy of expense forecastingEvaluate the company’s performance using key dataSupport operational improvements with financial analyticsParticipate in month-end close process including variance analysis of expenses and gross margin reconciliationProvide decision making support to drive business performance improvementIdentify Risks and Opportunities within the business and provide Actionable analysis Principal Outputs for the Role Timely and accurate reports for the business.Accurate and up to date financial information for the businessSound financial advice to the business unit heads RequirementsQualifications- Academic and Professional Bachelor’s Degree in science/economics/accounting/statistics or related fieldsCertified Accountant – CPA(K) or ACCA would be a plus but not mandatory Experience 2 – 3 years’ experience in finance/analytics/accounting with at least 1 years as a Business analyst/Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst1-2 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modellingProficient in Excel, Power Point and Other MS applicationsRetail/Wholesale/FMCG experience
