We are seeking a passionate, student-centered German Language Teacher to deliver engaging A1–C1 level classes. Job descriptions & requirements
Location: Kitale, Trans Nzoia County
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive German lessons for levels A1–C1 following CEFR guidelines
- Prepare students for Goethe-Zertifikat A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 exams
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and feedback
- Create teaching materials and adapt lessons for online and physical classrooms
- Maintain class records, attendance, and performance reports
- Contribute to curriculum development and institute growth initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Goethe-Zertifikat C2 or equivalent near-native proficiency. B2+ with proven teaching experience will be considered for A1–B1 classes
- Diploma/Degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or related field – added advantage
- 1+ years experience teaching German, preferably with CEFR levels
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment
- Proficiency in Zoom, Google Meet, Moodle, or other LMS platforms
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kitale, Trans Nzoia County
