We have a vast number of full-time employees who all contribute to providing our clients with first-class OSP and ISP fiber optic engineering, construction and splicing.
We are seeking to on board a Group Finance Manager who will offer strategic leadership and take responsibility for all Finance and Accounting functions across the three countries.
ROLE
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategy of our organization. You will work closely with the executive team, providing key financial insights, driving financial planning, and ensuring the company's financial health. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth trajectory and contribute to shaping our financial future.
We are looking for a Finance manager who will oversee the financial and accounting teams in the 3 countries of operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all accounting operations including billing, cost accounting, revenue accounting and recognition
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, and budgets.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and profitability.
• Manage and monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Review and provide guidance and coaching to accounting staff ensuring accuracy, correctness and completeness of transaction records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making processes, providing financial insights, and participating in strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensuring project budgets are adhered to strictly by the project teams.And sharing project budget vs actual at the end of each project.
• Preparation of financial reports and budgets and share management reports at the end of every month with the Management for the 3 countries of operation.
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting/finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Finance,Accounting, or a related field.MBA qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role with experience of at least 5 years in a busy environment within the Telecommunications or IT Industry.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA finalist) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya in good standing.
• Must have a Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial management software, specifically QuickBooks,SAP and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a finance team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
