Hydrogeological Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct field surveys and investigations to assess groundwater conditions.

· Collect data on water quality, quantity, and distribution.

· Design and implement tests to determine the hydraulic properties of aquifers.

· Analyze geological and hydrogeological data using specialized software and techniques.

· Prepare detailed reports and maps to illustrate findings and recommendations.

· Monitor and assess existing groundwater resources to ensure sustainable use.

· Provide technical guidance and support on groundwater projects.

· Liaise with stakeholders including government agencies, local authorities, and private clients.

· Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Stay updated with new methodologies, technologies, and best practices in hydrogeology

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in hydrogeological fieldwork and data analysis.

3. Proficiency in using hydrogeological modeling software and GIS applications.

4. Strong understanding of groundwater chemistry and hydrology.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong report writing and presentation skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field locations as required.
