Key responsibilities; Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies Interact with the management of the companies or similar players that he/she is researching as well as interacting with other fund managers, placement agents and investment issuers. Looking back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision Participate in client acquisition, report back and education events Preparing market information for dissemination to clients/prospectsThe incumbent will be a member of the investment committee and shall play a lead role in information dissemination and knowledge enhancement to the whole team.The functions of this role will also be guided by requirements of the legislation regulating the firm. Job Specifications Academic & Professional: Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or related field. Progress towards MBA and/or CFA designation or equivalent preferred. Progress towards ICIFA and/or CISI qualification a requirement Desired work experience : 3+ years related work experience in investment banking or financial analysis role in a busy establishment.
