Job Description/Requirements
Buildafrique Group is a multi-disciplinary of specialized subsidiaries that offers “End-to-End Project Development and Investment Solutions”.
The Organization wishes to recruit a highly motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of “Investment Research & Financial Analyst”.
The position will provide support for the organization in areas of Market and Investment Research, Feasibility Studies, Investment Appraisal and Evaluation, Structuring of Investment Solutions, Financial Modelling and Analysis, Investor Relations, Due Diligence, Macro-economic analysis, Market Reports, and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carrying out of market research and surveys on investment opportunities, industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends.
· Evaluating investment opportunities including infrastructure, real estate, and structured investments.
· Conducting Feasibility studies to inform on investment market indicators and viability of investments, and preparation of Investor Business Case.
· Building of financial models to access profitability and viability of investment projects.
· Appraisal, development, and structuring of specific Investment Solutions, and alternative investment models.
· Developing of forecasting models for cash flow, revenue, and budgeting purposes.
· Investor relations, carrying out specific investors’ surveys, and capital raising initiatives.
· Preparation of investment memos, pitch deck, and presentation for internal and external stakeholders.
· Support the creation of investment proposals and due diligence documentation.
· Macro-economic review and preparation of periodic investment market reports.
· Creating of new business opportunities through business development, including evaluating strategic investment opportunities, customers, and investors.
Job qualifications and core competencies:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
· Academic background or ongoing course in CFA, CIFA, or related.
· Proficiency in excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools.
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent Interpersonal skills, Innovative, and creative.
· Research and analytical skills.
· Business and leadership skills.
