Job Purpose: To plan, deliver, and assess Kiswahili, Mathematics, and Pre-Technical Studies lessons in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports holistic student development.

Job Description/Requirements
1. Teaching & Learning
Prepare and deliver engaging and learner-centred lessons in Kiswahili, Mathematics, and Pre-Technical Studies.
Use CBC learning outcomes to guide instructional planning and assessment.
Integrate ICT and teaching aids to enhance lesson delivery.
Identify and address diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
Conduct regular assessments, compile portfolios, and report learner progress.
2. Classroom Management
Create a supportive, safe, and disciplined classroom environment.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting respect and responsibility.
Maintain updated class records, lesson plans, and assessment data.
3. Curriculum & Content Development
Participate in the development of schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
Collaborate in the implementation of cross-cutting concepts like values, citizenship, and soft skills as outlined in CBC.
Assist in preparing learners for projects, exhibitions, and practical assessments.
4. Student Support
Identify learners who require academic or behavioural interventions and support them accordingly.
Participate in guidance and counselling initiatives and support mentorship programs.
Involve parents/guardians in the learning process through consistent communication.
5. Co-curricular and School Activities
Support and participate in co-curricular activities, clubs, and school events.
Mentor learners during school exhibitions, science fairs, and pre-tech demonstrations.
6. Professional Development
Attend training sessions, workshops, and school-based professional learning communities (PLCs).
Implement feedback from peer and supervisor lesson observations.
Remain up-to-date with CBC, KICD materials, and MoE guidelines.
7. General Duties
Adhere to school policies, TSC Code of Conduct, and professional ethics.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership.
Support the general operations of the school as needed.
