This role involves verifying daily production records, managing the ERP manufacturing module, and conducting financial reconciliations to support cost control and efficiency in manufacturing operations.1. Job Description/Requirements
1. Production Accounting & Verification
• Verify and post daily production outputs in the ERP system.
• Validate daily raw material consumption against production records.
2. Bill of Materials (BOM) Management
• Maintain and update BOMs in the ERP system based on approved formulations.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure BOMs align with actual production processes.
3. Manufacturing Module Optimization
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the ERP production module and recommend corrective actions.
• Research and implement continuous improvements in system utilization.
• Coordinate training and support for team members using the production module.
4. Financial Reconciliation & Reporting
• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts related to manufacturing.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on production costs, overheads, and losses for all products
5. Internal Controls & Compliance
• Ensure proper system access rights and permissions for users of the production module.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and reports for external auditors.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA Finalist or equivalent professional qualification.
• 1+ Years of experience in a Manufacturing/Audit firm.
• Minimum KCSE Grade A- or equivalent academic performance.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
