Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance for construction trucks and heavy equipment.

- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance for construction trucks and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained in good working condition.
- Conduct regular inspections to detect wear, damage, or malfunction.
- Repair engines, braking systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues in trucks and heavy machinery.
- Replace faulty parts and components where necessary.
- Maintain construction equipment including excavators, graders, rollers, and other machinery used in road construction.
- Ensure machines are serviced according to manufacturer schedules.
- Minimize equipment downtime through timely repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Keep records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
- Support inventory tracking of spare parts and tools.
- Follow all workshop safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure safe handling and use of tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Report major equipment faults or safety concerns to management.
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a mechanic working with trucks and heavy construction equipment.
- Experience working with trucks such as Tata, FAW, and Isuzu.
- Experience repairing excavators, graders, rollers, and other construction machinery.
- Experience working in a construction or road works environment is highly preferred.
