MECHANIC – EQUIPMENT &TRUCKS;

• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance for construction trucks and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained in good working condition.
• Conduct regular inspections to detect wear, damage, or malfunction.

• Repair engines, braking systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues in trucks and heavy machinery.
• Replace faulty parts and components where necessary.

• Maintain construction equipment including excavators, graders, rollers, and other machinery used in road construction.
• Ensure machines are serviced according to manufacturer schedules.
• Minimize equipment downtime through timely repairs.

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Keep records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
• Support inventory tracking of spare parts and tools.

• Follow all workshop safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure safe handling and use of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Report major equipment faults or safety concerns to management.

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a mechanic working with trucks and heavy construction equipment.
• Experience working with trucks such as Tata, FAW, and Isuzu.
• Experience repairing excavators, graders, rollers, and other construction machinery.
• Experience working in a construction or road works environment is highly preferred.
