Job Description/Requirements
Location: Nairobi
Salary: Ksh 35,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods with creativity and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure quality control and presentation of all products.
- Manage baking schedules and inventory of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Presentable, smart, and with good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen operations.
