Quality Control Writer

• Reviewing and editing written content to ensure it meets established standards for quality.
• Identifying and correcting errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Ensuring that written content is clear, concise, and easy to understand.
• Ensuring that written content is well-structured and follows established guidelines for formatting and organization.
• Collaborating with editors and other team members to develop and refine written content.
• Conducting research to ensure that written content is factually accurate and up-to-date.
• Conducting quality checks on written content to ensure that it meets established standards and guidelines.
• Identifying areas for improvement in the quality control process and proposing solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum KCSE grade of B plain with at least an A- in English.
• Bachelor's degree with at least a second upper division in Education- English Literature, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with style guides such as AP, MLA, and Chicago Manual of Style.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
