Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research and Development Technologist to join our pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, biology, and medical technology, as well as experience working in a laboratory or research setting. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting experiments to develop new pharmaceutical products or improve existing ones. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet regulatory standards for safety and efficacy.
Roles:
- Conducting experiments to develop new pharmaceutical products or improve existing ones.
- Conducting quality control tests on pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet regulatory standards for safety and efficacy.
- Collaborating with other members of the research and development team to design and execute experiments.
- Analysing and interpreting data from experiments and quality control tests
- Preparing reports on findings and presenting them to management or regulatory agencies
- Staying up to date on new developments and technologies in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical technology
Responsibilities:
- Conducting laboratory experiments and tests to develop new pharmaceutical products or improve existing ones.
- Conducting quality control tests on pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet regulatory standards for safety and efficacy.

Competencies:
- Strong background in chemistry, biology, and medical technology Experience working in a laboratory or research setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interpret and present scientific data.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmaceutical, chemistry, biology, or a related field Experience working in a laboratory or research setting.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Number of successful experiments conducted. Percentage of products passing quality control tests
- Compliance with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products Timeliness of project completion
- Quality and accuracy of reports and presentations
