Job Purpose:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling socks and related textile products to schools and supermarkets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clothing, garments, or textile sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and engage new clients, including schools, supermarkets, and institutional buyers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and merchandising activities.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide market intelligence.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Participate in marketing activities, trade shows, and promotional events.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the clothing, garments, or textile industry (experience in socks manufacturing will be an added advantage).
• Proven experience selling to schools and supermarkets.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP systems.
• Valid driving license – driving will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
