Job Summary

We are looking for a senior sales management professional with extensive experience in the solar industry, familiar with the industry, market demand, and relevant policies.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Description:

1. Sales & Target Management

Develop and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Formulate and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.

Track sales performance, prepare reports, and provide feedback to management.

2. Team Leadership & Training

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet performance goals.

Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product and sales knowledge.

Evaluate team performance and implement improvement plans.

3. Customer Relationship & Market Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.

Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.

Oversee the full sales process — from inquiry to deal closure and delivery.

4. Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis

Collect market data and monitor competitor activities.

Provide insights to support product positioning and pricing strategies.

Assist in organizing marketing events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.

Job Requirements:

1. Education Background

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in solar energy, inverters, or battery storage industry.

Prior experience in supervising a sales team or managing regional sales operations is an added advantage.

3. Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of Kenya’s energy or solar market.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Fluency in English required; Swahili proficiency is an advantage.

4. Personal Qualities

Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Able to work under pressure and willing to travel when required.
