Job Summary

Job Description/Requirements
Location: Nairobi
Salary: KES 20,000 per monthÂ
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain hygiene standards
- Replenish supplies such as cutlery, crockery, and napkins
- Help set up and break down service areas for events or buffets
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- KCSE certificate (minimum grade D+)
- At least 1 year of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to handle cleaning tasks and lifting
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
