Surelift Solutions Limited, on behalf of our client in the hardware industry, is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Counter Sales Officer to join their team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to customers at the sales counter and provide product information and recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Promote and upsell hardware products to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and quotations.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and organized.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Collaborate with the store team to maximize sales opportunities.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in counter sales within a hardware, construction materials, or building supplies environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware products and construction materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and sales systems.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.


Compensation

  • Retainer: KES 15,000 per month.
  • Attractive commission structure based on sales performance.
