What will I be doing? As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: People Management Supervise the Team Members (Team Management) Team Development (Mentoring; Training/Guiding) Recruitment  Reporting & Financial Analysis Produce internal financial reports in an accurate and timely manner for the daily work of the Management Team (Month-end Report & Owner Report) Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of annual profit, capital, cash and other short-term plans  Responsible for reconciliation and checking of accounts before month closing.  Review/Implement Finance policies, procedures and operating guidelines Control & Commercial Awareness Miscellaneous Requests/Activities (Insurance claims; submissions to government agencies; outsourcing contracts/services) Operational related investigations/reviews Preparation & adherence to External Audits; Internal Audits & any other Audit by local government agencies Review Balance Sheet Reconciliations prepared by Senior Accountant Review Refunds to Credit Cards and Adjustments to General Ledger Review the Daily Report prepared by Senior Accountant Review Cash Report with cash remittances due prepared by Senior Accountant Review Monthly credit card reconciliations and follow up any outstanding amounts Direct Reports Senior Accountant  Junior Accountant  What are we looking for? A Finance Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: University Preferred: Commerce Degree in Accounting and Management. At least 5 years of working experience as Finance Manager or higher position in the hospitality industry. Previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role. Fluent in written and spoken English. Good relationship with the local bank and government agencies. Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to lead, to provide guidance and to develop team member. Ability to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct associates and managers to meet desired ends. A resourceful individual who is creative and able to maintain flexibility. Line operations management and labor related experience preferred.
