We are able to advise on market trends, training requirements, prevailing salaries and offer a complete HR Solution where necessary.Key Requirements: Develop, execute and manage the overall company’s ESG strategy, including setting goals and measuring progress to ensure that it is directly tied to the business strategies and goalsDevelop annual and long-term OESG objectivesPrepare annual ESG progress against set objectives and goalsDevelop policies, guidelines related to sustainability affecting the environmentPlay a key role as a sustainability thought leader and in representing the company at the global, Africa and country levelsEngage with internal and external stakeholders and presenting regular sustainability reports and conduct sustainability assessmentsDefine the parameters to enable net zero strategy goal settingDevelop and maintain the Environmental Sustainability Management System (ESMS) and risk management framework for the company and drive the leadership in the industry in AfricaMonitor industry trends related to ESG to identify future opportunities for growth or risk areas that may require mitigation effortsCoordinating with external stakeholders such as suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure that they are aligned with the company’s ESG goalsDevelop the appropriate strategies to address the ESG risks and their potential impacts Qualifications: Bachelor’s and preferably Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalentProfessional qualifications in ESG, or related International StandardsCareer track record in ESGMinimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience in engineering or related technology industries and minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in ESGPractical knowledge in carbon footprint reduction principles and techniquesKnowledge and experience in global ESMS environmental standards and frameworksExperience of shaping, setting, and executing credible ESG strategies and programsKnowledge of data analysis and report writing Innovation in engineering and technology to shape sustainability solutionsProficient in the use of MS Office productsStrong analytical, organisational, and creative thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure within tight deadlinesIndependent, reliable, and flexible
