- Identify, prospect, and acquire new HORECA and institutional clients across Uganda.
- Promote and sell imported food, beverage, and related products to hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, bakeries, supermarkets, schools, hospitals, and corporate organizations.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and follow-up documentation.
- Convert leads into long-term business relationships and repeat sales opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing managers.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for upselling and cross- selling.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, and payments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives aimed at increasing product awareness and market penetration.
- Manage and support online marketing campaigns through social media, email marketing, and digital platforms.
- Create engaging content to promote products and generate leads.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, exhibitions, trade shows, and sampling activities.
- Work closely with management to develop marketing strategies and promotional materials.
- Enhance brand visibility within the HORECA and institutional sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and customer needs.
- Gather competitor intelligence and provide regular market feedback to management.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pip
- Follow up on customer payments and outstanding invoices.
- Support the finance team in maintaining healthy customer accounts and minimizing overdue balances.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Commerce, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Additional training in sales, digital marketing, or customer relationship management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of proven sales and marketing experience within the HORECA sector.
- Experience selling imported food products, beverages, FMCG products, hospitality supplies, or related products is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in both field sales and online/digital marketing.
- Existing network within hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, and institutions will be an added advantage.
