Job Description/Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility


  1. Drive the implementation of the business strategy across all branches and ensure clear deliverables and understanding of each staff roles and responsibilities.

  2. Spearhead performance management cycle from reviewing performance targets, monitoring performance, conducting performance appraisals, compiling results and recommending relevant responses;

  3. Leading and managing the learning and development process by conducting Training Needs Assessment (TNA); identifying development needs; assessing and recommending interventions; and implementing remedial actions;

  4. Implementing talent management strategies including recruitments and successful onboarding, staff career planning and staff development tools.

  5. Development of HR Strategy to ensure attraction and retention of highly competent, talented and committed staffs.

  6. Inspiring positive and progressive organization culture anchored on Hospital Core Values.

  7. Developing the Employer Preference Index to prospective candidates with the objective of making the hospital the most preferred employer for medical and general staffs in 5 years’ time.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   


  • A University degree in Human Resources or any other relevant areas.

  • CHRP/ HND in HRM certification is an added advantage.

  • Compliance with the requirements of Institute of Human Resources Management & a practicing license;

  • At least 3 years’ experience in HR Practice with 1-year leadership/ management role in a fast-paced business service-oriented environment focusing on strategy execution or monitoring and evaluations requiring fast response from HR department;

  • Ability to spearhead strategic planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation to ensure achievement of the set business goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrate appreciable understanding of talent requirements and dynamics in the medical field/ industry;

  • Proven ability in implementing significant changes with impact in customer satisfaction, profitability and operational efficiency;
