Human Resources Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW We are urgently seeking a mature, experienced, and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions at Medprime College. This is a critical leadership role requiring a professional with 3–5 years of proven HR experience (MANDATORY).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding - Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with institutional goals - Manage employee relations, handle grievances, and foster a positive workplace culture - Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws - Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation - Coordinate staff training, development, and welfare programmes - Report HR metrics and KPIs to senior management - Partner with department heads on workforce planning and talent needs

REQUIREMENTS - 3–5 years of proven HR experience (MANDATORY) - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field - CHRP certification or IHRM membership is an added advantage - Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace - Strong knowledge of Kenyan Labour Laws and HR best practices - Mature, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills - High level of confidentiality, integrity, and emotional intelligence
