Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and people-centered Remote Human Resources Representative to support our growing team. The right candidate must have strong HR experience, excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage people with professionalism, fairness, and care.
This role is 100% remote and full-time. We are looking for someone who can help with hiring, onboarding, employee communication, HR policies, team support, performance management, and overall people operations.
The ideal candidate is calm, organized, proactive, and experienced in managing employee needs while also protecting the company’s standards, policies, and culture.
Core Responsibilities
• Support the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for new team members.
• Help review applications, resumes, references, and candidate qualifications.
• Communicate professionally with applicants, employees, and leadership.
• Assist with employee files, documentation, contracts, policies, and HR records.
• Help ensure employees complete required training, paperwork, and onboarding steps.
• Support employee relations with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
• Help address staff questions, concerns, performance issues, and communication needs.
• Work closely with leadership to maintain clear expectations and accountability.
• Help create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Support performance reviews, coaching plans, warnings, and employee follow-up.
• Maintain organized HR systems and accurate employee records.
• Help ensure the company remains compliant with employment practices and internal policies.
• Communicate with warmth, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
• Be proactive in identifying problems and offering solutions before issues grow.
HR Expectations
• This is a full-time remote role.
• The candidate must be comfortable managing people and handling sensitive conversations.
• Strong follow-up, organization, and documentation are required.
• The candidate must be proactive and able to work independently.

Qualifications
• Minimum 10+ years of Human Resources experience required.
• Strong experience managing employees, people operations, or HR processes.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, documentation, and performance management.
• Experience in healthcare, childcare, maternal health, wellness, home care, family services, or service-based companies is strongly preferred.
• Must be proactive, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable having difficult conversations in a respectful and professional way.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work well with different personalities.
• Must understand the importance of confidentiality in HR matters.
• Must be able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must be comfortable using email, Zoom, online systems, and HR-related tools.
• Must be able to provide strong professional references.
