GoPure.shop is a lean eCommerce brand selling natural products, serving customers mainly in Europe and expanding to the US and Australia. We rely on clear processes, strong execution, and data-informed decisions.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are hiring a Marketing Operations & SEO Execution VA based in Kenya to own day-to-day marketing execution across SEO, website content, email marketing (Brevo), campaign coordination, and reporting.
Strategy and high-level priorities come from management and an SEO expert. You own implementation, monitoring, coordination, and follow-through. Over time, you are expected to need less guidance, not more.
This is not a junior VA role and not a freelance SEO consulting gig. It’s a long-term operator role focused on one brand.
WORK SETUP
- Remote and async-friendly. Timezone overlap is not critical, but you must be reliable with deadlines and able to attend occasional scheduled calls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: SEO AND WEBSITE EXECUTION (CORE)
- Implement on-page SEO changes on PrestaShop pages (titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, alt tags, basic QA).
- Upload, format, and optimize content across category pages, product pages, FAQs, and blog posts.
- Monitor Google Search Console and keyword tracking; spot positive/negative trends and propose actions.
- Work with management to define a simple workflow for monitoring targets and implementing improvements.
- Coordinate with the SEO expert for audits, priorities, and review feedback.
CONTENT SUPPORT (SECONDARY, STRONG PLUS)
- Improve existing category/product copy, FAQs, and blog posts for SEO and clarity.
- We have a content writer, but if you can write strong SEO content when needed, we will use that skill.
CAMPAIGN AND CALENDAR MANAGEMENT
- Own the marketing calendar (what gets published/sent and when, within agreed priorities).
- Turn high-level ideas into schedules, briefs, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Creative/Social and content contributors to hit deadlines.
EMAIL MARKETING AND AUTOMATIONS (BREVO)
- Manage campaigns and existing automations in Brevo (Sendinblue).
- Monitor performance, maintain list hygiene, and run basic testing/optimization.
- Research and propose new automation opportunities (welcome, winback, post-purchase, review requests, etc.).
- Collaborate with management on what to implement (within Brevo or custom-built in-house)
REPORTING AND COORDINATION
- Track key SEO/email/campaign metrics and report what’s actually useful (not vanity metrics).
- Tools are flexible; you should be able to learn new reporting tools quickly if needed.
- Keep workflows, documentation, and calendars organized and up to date.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years experience in digital marketing, SEO execution, or marketing operations.
- Hands-on experience implementing SEO changes on a CMS/eCommerce site.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Brevo, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.).
- Comfortable working with data, trends, and performance metrics.
- Strong written English and self-management (no daily hand-holding).
NICE TO HAVE
- eCommerce experience (especially category/product SEO).
- PrestaShop experience.
- Ability to write or improve SEO-friendly content (categories/products/FAQs/blog posts).
- Experience coordinating multiple contributors (creative/content/SEO).
COMPENSATION
- USD 1,000–1,500 per month (part-time, 25–30 hours/week).
- Performance-based step-up within the range after the first 4–6 weeks if ownership and execution are strong.
THIS ROLE IS NOT
- A basic VA/admin role.
- A “just upload and follow checklists” role.
- A freelance SEO consulting role with multiple clients.
- A job where everything is spelled out step-by-step forever.
