New Business Development Manager – Surge Team at Save the Children

Job Description The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an international non-governmental organization that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries About the roleWe are currently looking for a New Business Development Manager – Surge Team to join our team. As the NBD Manager, you will be responsible for managing the proposal development process and ensuring the final product is responsive, competitive, and timely. You will be responsible for working with the Country and Member teams to efficiently manage the proposal design and development process and collaborate with the Finance team to integrate the proposal budget into the final submission to the donor or Member.You will bring to the role Experience in leading the development of large-scale and complex proposals, including the development of project budgets greater than $5 million; experience in coordinating and preparing successful concept notes and proposals for major institutional donors (i.e. USAID, ECHO/INTPA, FCDO, SIDA, etc.); and, knowledge of the requirements of major institutional donors. You will be proficient in English. Proficiency in French, Spanish, and/or Arabic is highly desirable.About us The Global Expertise and Humanitarian Surge Platform (GEHSP) is Save the Children’s global humanitarian surge, technical expertise and new business development deployment management function, operating on behalf of both members and SCI. Our vision is to help to improve the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of our humanitarian responses and programmes; directly contributing to Save the Children’s capability to deliver the best outcomes for children and their families.About the Surge TeamThis role will be rapidly deployed by the GEHSP to support Country or Member teams to lead proposal development and grow Save the Children funding at all levels in order to resource the Country Strategic Plans and the Member Account Strategies.
