Customer Service Representative

We are an automotive parts business based in the U.S.A.  We are looking for a reliable, smart, and friendly individual that can provide top-notch customer service to our customers.  This includes friendly and reliable communication, ability to solve problems.  You must have a reliable internet connection and available to work Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm U.S. Central Time.

You may work from home, as long as it’s free from distractions.

Here’s a day in the life:
•    Start work by catching up on customer emails.  Most customer communications consist of:  “does this part fit my vehicle”, wants to return a part, “where’s my order?”, order cancelations, etc.
•    Manually process open orders so that they ship ASAP
•    Email vendors to check for late tracking numbers, check order status, etc
•    Look at online vendor catalogs to see if we carry a part a customer is looking for
•    Regularly check for open orders, new customer inquiries, etc.
•    Keep customers happy!
 
Here’s who we’re looking for:
•    Reliable!  If you miss a day of work, the owner has to step in and do your job.  We are a small company, so your job & reliability has a direct impact on others
•    Customer service experience is a plus, but not required
•    Fluent written English skills
•    Available Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm U.S. Central Time
•    Friendly, punctual
•    Ability to get things done and solve problems
•    Someone that can document training & processes, create a guide for when we hire more customer service reps
