Job Description/Requirements
You will be expected to:
Make cold calls and follow leads to market the loan product.
Maintain up to date product knowledge
Ensure that information and knowledge of the loan products are up to date, to enable proper education of potential customers on availability and range of services.
Contact customers for follow up on outstanding debts, offering support, or promoting new products.
Identify the root cause of problems, offering appropriate solutions, and escalating complex issues when necessary.
Assist customers with technical difficulties related to products.
Update customer information and interactions in the company's CRM system.
Adhere to established protocols for call handling, data security, and customer service.
Ensure a positive and helpful experience for every customer interaction.
Identify and escalate unresolved issues or complaints to the appropriate team or supervisor.
Requirements:
· Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration, Credit Management, Finance, or a related field
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in collections or credit control, preferably in a lending institution
· Knowledge of debt recovery regulations and legal processes
· Ability to manage sensitive customer interactions professionally
· Strong data entry, reporting, and documentation skills
· Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or debt management systems
· Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
