Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reservations Associate who applies strong critical-thinking skills to manage bookings, follow through and coordinate with the sales team, and ensure all reservation details are accurate and complete. This role requires someone who is highly organized, systematic, and able to process information carefully.

Job descriptions & requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and process reservation requests based on instructions from the Sales Person.
  • Coordinate with lodges to confirm room availability, rates, special requests, and booking conditions.
  • Cross-check all booking details, including dates, rates, guest information, and payment instructions, to ensure accuracy before confirmation.
  • Maintain and update reservation records, trackers, documents, and reports.
  • Handle amendments, cancellations, and updates while adhering to company processes.
  • Support basic payment processing tasks and maintain accurate financial records related to reservations.
  • Flag missing information, inconsistencies, or potential errors early for clarification.
  • Prepare simple summaries or reports for internal review when required.
  • Stay updated on lodge offerings, packages, and relevant industry information to support accurate bookings.


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in tourism, travel coordination, reservations, or lodge operations.
  • Proven experience working with lodges or tourism accommodation is an added advantage.
  • Strong critical-thinking ability and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and lodges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reservation/booking systems.
