Company Background

Our client is a leading national distributor of food and beverage products serving hotels, restaurants, catering establishments, institutions, and retail outlets across Kenya.

The company has recently introduced a Spanish wine and sangria line — a globally recognized brand celebrated for its quality, accessibility, and consumer appeal.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Sales Representative with proven experience in wine and beverage sales to spearhead growth in the Coast Region.


Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute a clear sales strategy to expand the brand’s footprint across the Coast market.

· Proactively identify, visit, and onboard new customers across different channels.

· Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

· Organize and execute tastings, promotions, and brand activations to increase awareness and drive consumer trial.

· Collect and report market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and emerging trends.

· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance reports.

· Collaborate with management to design and implement localized marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Candidate Profile

· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

· Proven field sales experience in alcoholic beverages or FMCG (wine experience will be an added advantage).

· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

· Professional appearance with excellent interpersonal skills.

· Valid driving license (essential).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel for reporting and analysis.

Remuneration & Benefits

· Salary: Kshs 30,000 – 35,000 (based on experience and performance).

· Transport: Company vehicle available most of the time.

· Commission: Attractive commission on sales achieved above the minimum monthly target.

· Contract: 1-year renewable contract based on performance.
