Job summary

We are a leather bag producing company based in Nairobi, Kenya. Our range of products include: travel bags, laptop bags, tote bags, wallets, belts, passport covers, bill and menu holders and other leather accessories. We use locally sourced leather and accessories and our products are made at our workshop from designing to stitching and finishing

Duties and Responsibilities

● Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers across retail, corporate, institutional, and wholesale markets.

● Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.

● Achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.

● Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and sales pitches.

● Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.

● Manage and grow the company's social media presence through content creation and engagement.

● Create marketing content including photos, videos, product showcases, customer testimonials, and promotional campaigns.

● Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, networking events, and industry shows to promote the company's products and generate leads.

● Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

● Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.

● Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on business development activities.

● Represent the company professionally and uphold the brand image at all times.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

● Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

● Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, or customer relationship management.

● Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

● Self-motivated, energetic, and highly aggressive in pursuing sales opportunities.

● Strong organizational and time-management skills.

● Proficiency in social media marketing platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp Business.

● Basic graphic design and content creation skills will be an added advantage.

 

Added Advantage

● Experience in photography and videography.

● Ability to operate a camera and create high-quality visual content for social media marketing.

● Experience in the fashion, leather products, manufacturing, gifting, or promotional products industry.

● Possession of an existing network of corporate clients and business contacts.

 

Salary Ksh. 25,000
