Job summary
The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to leadership on all human capital matters and ensures that the hospital’s workforce strategy aligns with organizational goals. The role focuses on talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, organizational culture, employee engagement, and compliance with labour laws.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic HR support to senior leadership.
Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives.
Design and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.
Manage employee relations and grievance resolution.
Oversee HR policy development and compliance with Kenyan labour laws.
Implement performance management and leadership development programmes.
Ensure accurate payroll administration and statutory compliance.
Support succession planning and organisational development initiatives.

Drive effective workforce management and organisational culture development
across the organisation.
Maintain overall staff attrition at or below 15% annually, with a focus on retaining
critical clinical and leadership talent.
Achieve efficient recruitment processes, ensuring critical roles are filled within 45
days while maintaining high-quality candidate selection and a positive candidate
experience.
Ensure 100% payroll accuracy, including timely processing and verification.
Guarantee full statutory compliance, ensuring all employee deductions and
statutory remittances are submitted on time to avoid penalties.

Education Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial
Psychology, or a related field from a recognised university.
A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Business
Administration (MBA), or Strategic Management will be highly desirable.
A recognised professional HR certification such as Certified Human Resource Professional
(CHRP-K), Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (IHRM), Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development (CIPD), or an equivalent internationally recognised HR
qualification.
Membership in the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya or a relevant
professional HR body will be required.
A minimum of eight to ten years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR
advisory or business partnering roles, preferably within healthcare institutions, hospitals, or
large complex organisations.
