On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue impact locally—while aligning with the broader Group marketing strategy.
Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager – Kenya will lead the planning and execution of all marketing and communications activities for the Kenyan market. This strategic yet hands-on leader will adapt group campaigns, develop local initiatives, and ensure consistent, high-impact brand presence across every customer touchpoint. The role is ideal for an experienced B2B marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, blends creativity with data-driven thinking, and can translate regional strategy into Kenya-specific growth results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Market Leadership
- Develop and own the Kenya Marketing Plan aligned to the company’s objectives and local business priorities.
- Drive brand positioningand market differentiation within the Kenyan technology landscape.
- Lead competitive intelligence, market research, and customer insights to shape go-to-market strategies.
2. Brand & Content Management
- Ensure brand standards are upheld across all touchpoints, communications, assets, and partner activities.
- Lead development of Kenya-specific content—events, case studies, testimonials, solution briefs, and thought-leadership pieces.
3. Demand Generation & Digital Engagement
- Plan and execute integrated
campaigns (digital, social, events, webinars) that drive lead generation
and sales enablement.
- Partner with internal business development teams across verticals to create customized tactics and activities to target key industry sectors and clients.
4. Event & Partner Marketing
- Own the strategy and execution of corporate events, trade shows, partner activations, and client forums in Kenya.
5. Communications & PR
- Oversee internal communications and drive content creation on key initiatives, successes and key business updates via communication channels such as internal newsletters.
- Support corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability initiatives and storytelling in the local market.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Establish clear KPIs and ROI tracking for all Kenya marketing programs.
- Present monthly performance dashboards and insights to the Group Head of Marketing and Kenya leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (B2B/technology industry strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in integrated marketing, digital channels, demand generation, and event marketing.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and partner teams.
- Familiarity with multi-country operations and African markets is an advantage.
