About the Role
Elimutab EdTech Africa is looking for a results-driven STEM Sales Coordinator to drive student enrolment into our Coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) programmes. This is a consultative sales role that involves engaging with parents, conducting programme demonstrations, following up on enquiries, and converting leads into enrolled students.
This position is ideal for a confident salesperson who enjoys building relationships, communicating value, and achieving sales targets. It is not a retail sales, cashier, merchandising, or field marketing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate student enrolments through proactive follow-up of leads.
- Make daily outbound calls to prospective parents and students.
- Book and conduct in-person and virtual STEM programme demonstrations.
- Explain our Coding, AI, and IoT programmes confidently to parents and students.
- Guide prospective families through the enrolment process.
- Maintain accurate lead and customer records.
- Meet monthly enrolment and activity targets.
- Submit daily and weekly sales reports.
- Work closely with the STEM Academy team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in sales, customer engagement, education sales, EdTech, technology sales, or consultative sales.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls and conducting presentations.
- Target-driven with a proven ability to achieve sales goals.
- Based in or willing to work in Nairobi.
Added Advantage
- Experience in education, EdTech, technology, or training institutions.
- Experience using a CRM or sales tracking system.
- Basic understanding of Coding, Artificial Intelligence, or IoT.
- Ability to communicate in both English and Swahili.
