About the Role
We are looking for trained, professional, and experienced nannies to join our plaftform, Bookayaya. Our families trust us to connect them with reliable caregivers who are committed to children’s wellbeing, safety, and development.
If you have experience in Early Childhood Development (ECDE), child caregiving, or previous nanny roles, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality childcare in a safe, nurturing environment
- Support children’s daily routines, including feeding, dressing, bathing, and playing
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning and developmental activities
- Maintain cleanliness and good organization of children’s spaces
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents
- Ensure safety at all times, including basic first aid awareness
- Follow family guidelines regarding routines, discipline, and expectations
Minimum Requirements
- Trained in ECDE, Childcare, or Nanny/Caregiver courses (certificate or diploma)
- At least 1 year of nanny or childcare experience
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- A caring, patient, and reliable personality
- Ability to provide references from previous employers
- Willingness to create a detailed profile on Bookayaya (including photo, experience, skills, and CV)
