Section: Production

Reporting to: Shift Production Supervisor

Key Result Areas:

• To implement instructions from the production operator or supervisor about operating the process.

• When required, clearly and accurately document activities on the relevant report forms.

• To ensure you do not create a safety hazard to yourself, others, equipment, and facilities

• To observe relevant Statutory Safety Regulations, Company Standard Operating Procedures, and relevant Company rules and regulations

• When required, stand in for an operator up to your level of competence

• Report to the operator or supervisor any raw material, product, or processing non-conformity.

• Participate in all departmental problem-solving sessions alongside the operators

• To contribute to the development of the department and company by suggesting improvements 

• Maintain cleanliness of your environment and report any abnormalities in the process equipment

• Carry out any other duty as may be reasonably assigned by your supervisor.

Production

• Achieve 100% of the production target as per the plan

Quality

Ensure zero non-compliance in terms of product quality

Education

• KCSE

• Diploma in chemical engineering or any related field will be an added advantage.

Experience

• At least one year’s experience in a production environment

• Have a good understanding of extraction

• Quick learner

• Personal initiative to ensure increased productivity and good quality

• Attention to detail
