Experienced Office Administrator to serve as the operational anchor of an established construction firm. You will manage daily office workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain meticulous project documentation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to handle logistics, petty cash, and administrative support.

Job Description (Responsibilities)


* Regulatory Compliance:

Track and renew all company and project-specific licenses 


* Document Control:

Maintain a centralized physical and digital filing system for all contracts, site reports, and tender documents.


* Financial Administration:

Manage office petty cash, utility payments, and coordinate with the accountant for payroll and supplier invoices.


* HR Support:

Maintain personnel files for technical staff and site managers, ensuring all contact information and contracts are up to date.

* Front Office Management:

Serve as the first point of professional contact for visiting institutional clients, suppliers, and partners.


Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)


* Experience:

3+ years in Office Administration or Business Operations, preferably within the Construction, Engineering, or Legal sectors.

* Compliance Knowledge:

Familiarity with Kenyan construction industry requirements is a significant advantage.


* Financial Literacy:

Strong ability to manage budgets, reconcile petty cash, and understand basic invoicing/LPOs.


* Organization:

A "perfectionist" approach to filing; you must be someone who can find any document within 60 seconds.


* Tech-Savvy:

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for tracking expenses and project timelines.


* Character:

Extremely reliable and punctual. Since you are the "anchor" remaining in the office, you must be the most dependable person on the team.
