Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods that delight our customers. You will be expected to combine artistry with precision to deliver consistent, high-quality results while maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

Develop new recipes and seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Chef.

Ensure all pastries are prepared according to recipes, portion, and presentation standards.

Monitor ingredient quality and freshness; manage inventory and minimize waste.

Supervise and train junior pastry staff or kitchen assistants.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section at all times.

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and innovative techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:

certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation styles.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Creativity and attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience:

Experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or bakeries.
