Job Summary

We are a leading supplier to the print and packaging industry seeking a proficient Product Manager. The ideal candidate will own our product portfolio, translate market trends into actionable roadmaps, gather customer insights, set pricing and positioning strategies and drive performance against revenue and adoption goals.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities


1. Product Strategy (30%)

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies in alignment with company objectives to enhance product positioning.
  • Create actionable marketing plans based on strategic goals and measurable objectives.
  • Strengthen brand positioning to increase customer engagement and market visibility.
  • Strategize and execute product planning to effectively meet market demands.
  • Integrate customer insights into product development and marketing strategies.

 

2. Market and Customer Research (20%)

  • Conduct market research to track customer trends and predict future demands.
  • Analyze competitive products and develop market intelligence reports.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development based on market insights.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through structured engagement.
  • Participate in the design of retail packaging and in-store marketing displays.

 

3. Business Process & Performance Monitoring (20%)

  • Develop monthly marketing reports to measure success of programs running and Profit and Loss.
  • Develop custom brand management plans for each product and submit updated summaries on brand exposure to management each month.

 

4. Risk Management (10%)

  • Assess potential risks in product development, including market shifts and technological advancements.
  • Develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Ensure smooth execution of product development initiatives with contingency plans in place.

 

5. Technical Solutions & Customer Support (10%)

  • Provide accurate and practical solutions to customer needs.
  • Maintain records of customer feedback and share insights with manufacturers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making.
  • To work closely with the team on R&D of products and bug fixing, prioritizing based on user impact and business value.

 

6. Operational Tasks (10%)

  • Maintain daily activity reports and monitor sales dashboards.
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate with the sales team for customer data updates.

i.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

ii.  Ability to work effectively within time and resource constraints.

iii.  Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

iv.  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

v.   Professional, confident and assertive with a high level of discretion.

vi.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

i.   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or a related field.

ii   At least 10 years of relevant experience required.

iii. Chartered Marketer qualification will be an added advantage.
