Job Description/Requirements
Functional Purpose
To acquire and value-add quality projects aligned to Customers’ demand.

• Demonstrable experience in real estate sector especially in land business.
• Land value chain management and value addition.

• Conducting due diligence and supporting developing investment proposals for new investments in land

• Internal motivation, positivity, proactivity and taking initiative
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement yearly acquisition and project on-boarding plan.
• Implement and maintain an up-to-date acquisition and on-boarding policy and procedures.
• Participate in Planning Processes, research and data analysis
• Build and evolve a culture of integrity and performance within the department, promoting and living the prescribed corporate values.
• Liaise with Legal, Project Operations, Risk and Internal Audit to develop an internal control environment that safeguards the firm’s assets.
• Lead in communication and relationship with other departments.
• Implement methods and practices to minimize legal, project operations and financial risks.
• Analyze and Verify property data details and survey particulars
• Coordinate legal, projects operations and financial due diligence.
• Advice the project acquisition committee on the viability of prequalified projects based on due diligence report.
• Coordinate and facilitate negotiations with property stakeholders.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance and legal department’s identification and contracting of Surveyors, Lawyers, contractors and Valuers.
• Supervise identified and retained service providers to ensure quality services as per contract scope.
• Adhere strictly to the departmental processes, budgets and procedures.
• Coordinate development of bill of quantities for value-add services
• Prepare official departmental reports on a monthly and annual basis.
Academic Qualifications
• Undergraduate Degree in either Building Economics, Real Estate, land Economics, Project managements or any other related field.
• MUST be registered with relevant professional bodies preferably Valuers Registration Board
Knowledge and Skills
• Not less than 5 years’ experience in a real estate sector
• Practical experience in surveying profession and knowledge on land matters
• Excellent entrepreneurial, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent Management and organizational skills
