JOB TITLE: SALES AGENT (SOLAR PRODUCTS)-10 POSITIONS
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
INDUSTRY: RENEWABLE ENERGY
SALARY: KSHS.45,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS
JOB LOCATION: MOMBASA RD

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in both B2B and B2C markets.
  • Promote and sell solar products including inverters, power tanks, solar panels, and energy storage solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients.
  • Conduct site visits and client needs assessments to recommend suitable solar solutions.
  • Follow up on leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Provide professional after-sales support and handle customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain a database of clients and track sales activities.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on competitor activities and customer preferences.

Product Knowledge & Market Expertise
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar products, industry trends, and technological advancements.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, and return on investment.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure proper system design and installation planning.

Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline updates.
  • Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years proven sales experience in Solar energy products, Inverters, Power tanks, Solar panels, New energy batteries
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Willingness and readiness to travel when required.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized.
