Sales Executive - GPS Fleet Management
Job summary
Fleetr (fleetr.co.ke) is a fast-growing GPS vehicle tracking platform disrupting fleet management in Kenya. We're looking for a hungry, results-driven Sales Executive to convert warm inbound leads into paying customers. This is NOT a cold-calling role — our sales funnel generates 10-20 qualified leads daily. Your job is to call fast, help customers
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
• Call new sign-ups within 5 minutes of registration (leads are warm and expecting your call)
• Walk customers through vehicle setup on the Fleetr platform via phone and WhatsApp
• Follow up consistently using our built-in CRM with automated reminders
• Convert free trial users into paid subscribers (Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans)
• Manage your pipeline daily — update lead statuses, log call notes, set follow-up reminders
• Send daily performance reports: calls made, setups completed, conversions closed
• Hit monthly target of 30+ vehicles onboarded
• Handle objections professionally and escalate technical issues to the product team
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in insurance, FMCG, telecommunications, or SaaS
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Fluent in English and Swahili (spoken and written)
• Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and CRM tools daily
• Excellent phone manner — warm, professional, and persistent
• Strong follow-up discipline — you don't let leads go cold
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Based in Nairobi
Nice to Have:
• Experience selling technology or SaaS products
• Understanding of GPS tracking, fleet management, or logistics industry
• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business for customer communication
