We specialize in smart city, security, and IoT solutions, including video surveillance, access control, perimeter security, smart lighting, traffic monitoring, public safety systems, and IoT platform integration. We are expanding our presence in Kenya and are looking for a local Sales Manager to support business growth.
Role Summary
We are hiring a part-time, commission-based Sales Manager to support SolutionMall’s growth in Kenya. This role focuses on business development in the smart city, security, and IoT sectors. You will promote SolutionMall’s integrated solutions to government departments, municipalities, utilities, engineering firms, system integrators, distributors, and enterprise clients across Kenya.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage qualified prospects in the smart city, security, and IoT sectors

Develop business opportunities with system integrators, distributors, EPC contractors, and enterprise buyers

Collect project requirements and support RFQs and quotations

Coordinate with SolutionMall’s China-based team to provide suitable solutions and proposals

Build and maintain local channel and partner relationships

Support partner onboarding and help generate qualified sales pipelines

Share market feedback on customer needs, pricing, competitors, and market opportunities
Requirements

Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience

Experience in security, smart city, surveillance, IoT, electronics, or related technical solutions

Strong local network in Kenya, especially among integrators, distributors, contractors, or enterprise clients

Ability to manage long sales cycles and cross-border business opportunities

Good communication skills and ability to work remotely across time zones

English proficiency is required

Knowledge of CCTV, access control, security systems, or smart city solutions is an advantage

Swahili is a plus
-
Mandarin is a plus but not required
Employment Type: Part-time
Compensation: Commission-based (1%–2% of contract amount, minimum 1%)
