Key Responsibilities
Drive direct sales in General Trade outlets
Meet daily sales and order targets
Generate and capture outlet orders
Increase numeric distribution within assigned routes
Ensure product availability and basic visibility in outlets
Identify and onboard new outlets
Conduct daily outlet coverage as per route plan
Submit accurate daily sales and activity reports
Provide market and competitor feedback
Adhere to pricing, sales procedures, and code of conduct
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
Valid drivers license is an added advantage
At least 1–2 years’ experience in field sales, route sales, or FMCG distribution
Strong selling, upselling, and customer engagement skills
Ability to work on delivery routes and spend long hours in the field
Basic understanding of invoicing, delivery notes, and payment confirmation
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify sales opportunities and close deals on-site
Organized, reliable, and able to submit accurate daily reports
Basic smartphone literacy (M-PESA confirmations, photos, WhatsApp reporting, etc.)
