The successful
candidate would be responsible for managing the reception, supporting school processes including finance, procurement, management of digital platforms and record keeping. In addition to this, he/she will be responsible for
providing administrative support to the headteacher and deputy headteacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and address their various requests.
- Accounting book keeping and assist the school accountant in generating accounting reports.
- Co-ordinate school suppliers and purchases.
- Monthly Bank reconciliation
- Process requisitions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor Payable & Receivable accounts and make necessary follow up.
- Manage the school website, email, Facebook and school management software.
- IT support for academic staff.
- Taking minutes of meetings of board & management meetings.
- Support the principal in organizing school functions and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Born again christian.
- Background in accounting (e.g. CPA or accounts degree).
- Highly computer literate and ability to learn new systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must have a problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Highly adaptable & flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Work experience in an education institution.
Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs. 15,000-30,000
