Business: Baby Shop
1. JOB PURPOSE
The job holder is responsible for driving both in-store and online sales, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the overall growth of the baby shop. The role requires strong product knowledge, active engagement with customers (especially on digital platforms), and the ability to convert inquiries into sales.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES.
Key Roles
1.Sales & Customer Service
• Drive daily sales targets both in-store and online
• Assist walk-in customers with product selection and recommendations
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure repeat business
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
2. Online Sales & Digital Engagement
• Do online Lives to drive sales
• Manage and respond promptly to customer inquiries via WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and other platforms
• Convert online inquiries into successful sales
• Post and promote products on social media platforms
• Follow up on leads and pending orders to close sales
• Maintain a consistent and engaging online presence for the business
3. Order Processing & Delivery Coordination
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate deliveries and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment
• Keep customers updated on order status
4. Product Knowledge & Merchandising
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all baby products (clothing, accessories, toys, essentials, etc.)
• Ensure proper display and organization of products in-store
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• Proven experience in retail sales (experience in baby products is an added advantage)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in online selling and social media platforms (WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook)
• Sales-driven with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
