Role Overview
The Technical Sales Executive (ICU Division) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling advanced medical technology solutions specifically designed for Intensive Care Units. This role involves working closely with ICU physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, and hospital procurement teams to understand clinical needs and recommend appropriate products.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ICU procedures and medical technologies, enabling them to effectively demonstrate product value, provide technical support during product trials, and build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
The role demands both technical expertise and strong sales acumen to successfully position the company’s solutions in a highly specialized clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling within hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of ICU-related sales opportunities.
Client Targeting: Identify and target high-potential healthcare institutions for product placement.
Sales Execution: Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with ICU physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, and procurement teams.
Product Demonstration: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations in ICU settings, translating technical features into clinical and operational benefits.
Technical Support: Support product trials, evaluations, and user training in intensive care environments.
Customer Retention: Ensure high customer satisfaction and drive repeat business through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing feedback to improve sales strategies.
Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline in CRM systems, and prepare regular reports.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Medical Technology, or a related medical field.
Added Advantage: Registered Nurse with experience in Critical Care/ICU.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical or medical sales, preferably in ICU or critical care products.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex biomedical concepts and technology solutions.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth within the healthcare industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a customer-centric mindset.
Willingness to travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in training programs.
