The Tile Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company's range of ceramic, porcelain, vitrified, decorative, and outdoor tiles to retail customers, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers, and construction companies

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, preferably in:
    • Tiles
    • Building materials
    • Hardware
    • Sanitary ware
    • Interior finishing products
    • Construction materials


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Promote and sell the company's tile products to retail and wholesale customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, interior designers, developers, hardware stores, and construction firms.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable tile products based on project needs and budget.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to convert inquiries into sales.
  • Negotiate prices and close sales while maintaining company profitability.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and site visits to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, pricing, promotions, and competitors.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure timely order processing and deliveries.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure excellent after-sales service.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns to promote the company's products.
  • Ensure proper documentation of customer orders and payments.
  • Comply with company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
